The Codes & Sequences incursion invites students into a world of mystery, logic, and mathematical discovery. In this hands-on workshop, students will use all their skills to analyse clues, identify patterns, and crack a series of code-based challenges. Success relies on their ability to think critically, make connections, and apply a range of mathematical strategies. Whether it’s spotting number patterns, solving puzzles, or uncovering hidden sequences, this incursion challenges students to be flexible, focused thinkers—making maths meaningful, memorable, and fun.

The Codes & Sequences incursion is all about thinking logically, strategically, and creatively. Students will dive into hands-on maths challenges that require them to crack codes, uncover number patterns, and solve a series of sequence-based puzzles. Along the way, they’ll apply mathematical strategies, make important connections, and think critically to uncover solutions. This engaging, interactive workshop transforms every student into a code-breaker and pattern-hunter and seeing how maths is all around us!

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Price: $15 per student (10% discount on bookings over 100 students).

PROGRAM INFORMATION

Year 3-8 students: Workshops runs as a 1.5 hour incursion with approximately 25 students.

Double classes with two presenters is also an option, approx 50 students.

A classroom/open learning space is required, along with access to a projector.

Student supervision by teachers is required throughout the session.
