This poster has been designed for students to use as a resource whilst problem solving, supporting them to select an appropriate strategy based on the problem or mathematical scenario that they are faced with. We suggest that each strategy is introduced explicitly over a period of time, providing students with a worked example of what each strategy looks like and how it could be applied. This poster could be displayed in the classroom, as well as given to students to stick in the cover of their maths workbook.
